Contemporary Clinic interviewed Laura Lee Hall, PhD, president of the Center for Sustainable Health Care Quality and Equity, on some new approaches to address racial and ethnic disparities in diabetes care.
During the discussion, Hall explained how the work of the Center for Sustainable Health Care Quality (SHC) impacts health care systems, how the SHC’s diabetes DRIVE toolkit help to address these disparities in disease burden and health outcomes, and what the results of the DRIVE toolkit’s pilot program showed regarding the efficacy of the toolkit in addressing these disparities.
